I bought this off someone local that had it listed as a 2019-2023 ford ranger engine cover. Took it out the box and it looked like an engine cover and so I bought it.

Unfortunately it does not fit. Pipe/hose on the front of the engine gets in the way. The part # on the box is L1MZ-6A949-A and on the ford parts sites it's L1MZ-6A949-C for our trucks. I did a search on the "A" part # and didn't find anything.

What year model does this fit so I can post for sale correctly?

The (-A) and (-C) are the same part, they revised the part number.
To my knowledge it was not redesigned (form & fit)
Take a pic of the hose in question and also do you have the mounting studs for the cover?

It should fit, unless the hose has been rerouted for some reason the PVC Hose has been rerouted and was done in 2020. This may be the hose in question.

For Ref: My 2022 has a (-AA) as this was the (- number) when I ordered it.
Remember this part went through a transition of (discontinued and then returned to production with a different (- number)

Looks like what’s on my 2022. But can’t see the area you’re talking about where it’s hitting in your pictures

OMG I AM A FREAKING MORON! LMAO

I saw the two threaded holes to the left and the one threaded hole in the back, in the Pic, and I thought that's where it would bolt down to. I didn't even see the front one! I was so dang confused.

As soon as I seen your Pic my jaw dropped and I ran outside.

I bought it brand new in the box for $20, guy sold his truck and trying to get rid of it. So I just gave up pretty easily. Lmao. I just tossed it up there few times and it didn't fit .. "oh well I only paid $20 for it." I put it back in the box and went back inside.

He also sold me a brand new tailgate damper for $20.

Get your money back for the damper. He should have paid YOU to take it to the dump for him. 😜

I promise you if I would have paid full price, I would have been outside all day, if needed, to find a way to make it fit and Google search my butt off.

I bought this for $20 with it in my mind that I'm either getting scammed or it's the wrong part. I swear man.. I gave it like 5mins and I just thought to myself that yeap it was to good to be true.
