I just got mine installed a few days ago, , what a great upgrade, at least for me, you do lose the ability to lower the window a small amount, once you touch the button it's going all the way down.

So now, I push it down and pull it right back up quickly to have it cracked 1/2" or so, but the features are great otherwise, I use the rolling them all down before I go out and drive to help cool it down, and the crack all 4 after I lock it almost every time.

I did not use the T taps, I just wired them directly with a crimp connector and heat shrink with liquid tape for the seal and added a weatherpack connector in case I needed to remove the door panel later with the module still attached, because I used the industrial Velcro that's hard to separate.

It's funny, they say to mount the module with the connector pointing down in case of water intrusion. it's on the inside of the weather sheet, the two T taps they provide hook in the loom outside of the weather sheet, they could eventually corrode, I would recommend sealing them or using something else.

Install was easy, but damn, I never get used to the cracking and snapping sounds when pulling everything apart, Ford clips always sound like they are breaking, and I was careful not to snap off the end of the trim strip like the guy in the video.
A tip when removing the weather sheet, do it cold, the butyl is not as gooey, I removed the whole thing to add sound deadener in the door.

I think it was worth the cost and effort, but that's just my 2 cents.

Ordered. $118.45 U.S.D. to the door. In HTX during the summer putting the windows down before getting in can lower the inside cab temp a lot. If not, when you open the door it’s like opening the oven door. You feel the heat pouring out.

Installed mine today, I took my time and tested before putting my door back together. Everything worked as advertised. One touch on all four doors and the remote features worked as well.

In my opinion, this should have came from the manufacturer with these abilities.

I highly recommend buying and installing on your Ranger. And it is not as expensive as it would have been from the factory (thanks to the exchange rates).

Just picked up the window and mirror combo pack with the code. After the code, shipping to the US and AUD->USD conversion it came out to $166. Can't wait to get these installed. Not having auto down windows was a major disappointment after my previous car had them.

Same here. $159.58 USD for the combo w/ coupon. Used a travel Visa to avoid international conversion fees.

I just got around to installing and WTF. Everything works as advertised EXCEPT the driver's window is wired backwards! I one-touch down, the window goes up. I one-touch up, the window goes down.
And the worst part. I lock the car and driver's window rolls down. It doesn't matter how I lock it; remote, touch the outside handle, use the inside lock button. The f***ing driver's window rolls down. Anybody else have this problem?

I did not have this issue. I would check to make sure the two taps are on the correct wires. If everything looks good, contact the manufacturer. It really sounds like maybe a couple of wires may be in the wrong location in the harness plug, but they will be able to assist.

It is a real bummer to hear that this is not working correctly for you.

The two taps are only for the lock/unlock signal so that couldn't be the cause, but I triple checked anyway. They're correct. I think you're right about a couple of pins being in the wrong places. It could be in the harness or the black box. I disconnected it and everything went back to normal. Next step is contacting Redtek.
