I don't think it's the water or air.
I think it's too many participation trophies and a reluctance of parents to expect more of their children and/or hold them to a higher standard that causes many of the malfunctions we are experiencing in "society" nowadays.

Now get off my lawn!!!
I deal with the public, a lot, it's this... nobody's been told no in their entire life and it shows in their maturity levels in all areas.

They can't handle not getting their way.

Unless you're talking about me, in which case:

I have no words...... I can't even begin to think when coming to an interview with your child would be considered appropriate - driving them to the interview? Maybe. But sitting in the room DURING the interview? Wow.

When I see stuff like this I always think - "what is the kid going to do when mommy or daddy isn't around to save them" Because some day, mommy and daddy WON'T be around to save them - that isn't an if, it is a WHEN.
Pretty sure the government will bail them out just like they did with all the dumbasses that don't understand what a loan is after spending too much on a degree that won't get them a job that makes a living wage.

Due to my recent purchase a couple months ago and now on the frontier forms with @RedDakooter05 and I have to say many of their members are also special to say the least. Also unfortunately they're ignored button doesn't work the same way as ours does. It's a sad time.

So again I have to ask. What's with all the crazies coming over all of a sudden?
I'm confused if you're calling me out or not lol.

Some of them seem decent but the forums are not very active so hard to me to get a handle on the typical frontier forum goer.

As far as I can tell, I've not been put on anyones ignore list over there. Here? Well seems majority of them Texan boys can't handle a little trolling for me. Had one guy PM me death threats lol. Half the time I can't tell if a user isn't quoting anyone or they do, but said user has me ignore.

The only way to tell if you have been put on the ignore list of they state it or simply don't reply at all. You can still see their content vs over here you can see anyone's content once they hit the button

Ah, well at least I can read their posts so if there is a quote chain I can at least have all context.

I can't imagine I ruffled many feathers over there yet hah.

Just wait, in time you will be the one hitting the button. I already have 4 on that list and I feel it is for fair reason.

Unless you're talking about me, in which case:
(NewsNation) — Some Gen Z respondents need help from their parents during a job interview, according to a new survey.

Resume Templates survey found that 26 percent of the Gen Z respondents actually involve their parents in the interview process; 31 percent of those respondents had a parent accompany them to an in-person interview and 29 percent had them join a virtual interview.

For those that said they had a parent come with them to an in-person interview, 37 percent of respondents said they had their mom or dad come into the office, and 26 percent of respondents said one of their parents physically sat in the room while the interview took place.

------------------
I would absolutely not hire someone who brought their parent. Immediate disqualified.

But this is the state of things in the here and now!

I have seen that poll in several places (including LinkedIn) but I don't remember seeing any information on how the data was gathered and analyzed. I am not saying the data or survey is flawed, but I could interview everyone within 1 mile of my house and 100% of them say pineapple on pizza is the best topping ever. there are 3 people who live within 1 mile my home. <not true but you get the point.

SIDESTORY -
My GF has a team in India. She offered one of her team members the opportunity to change from 2nd shift to 1st shift to support a different team and to provide them the opportunity to shine. The employee said "I need to ask my parents if I can switch shifts." This is a professional adult - with an MBA. But culturally they defer to their parents for a lot of things. In this case they passed on the opportunity because their mother makes them lunch and dinner and if they took the earlier shift she could not take advantage of that.

While that seems so foreign to us, culturally it is the norm there. They live with extended family, the mothers cook for everyone in the home. She has had team members quit because the family decided she should not be working. But that is just how it is, so they leave a good paying job and go be a homemaker...
