I used to drive those, also the A2 version with the rag top and drop side bed rails along with troop seats. Damn thing would go anywhere there was room.

1st of 18 of these bobbed deuces built, (still got it) did 8 5 tons, started as a hobby, then built for an oilfield/pipeline supply construction outfit. Pics from a decade ago with my sons and class reunion. Now county uses for bad weather emergency Response.

One on right is a M109, box version of M35, been converting to modern camper, rebuilding and modify to modern luxuries as AC, instant hot water shower, toilet etc.

Nice! almost looks like a M37B2 if it had the spare on the door First time I have seen a bobbed deuce.

id agree with that with a few exceptions. i have always loved old jeeps esp the military ones but the more mall jeepers and bubble gummers i see with jeeps the less i want another jeep in the future.

Is that a deuce and a half? We had one when I was a volunteer firefighter in Texas. We were a small rural town and used it as a tanker. A 2,500 gallon tank on the back (now that's some weight!) and a platform on the front with two mounted nozzles. We'd just drive into the brush fires and make short work of many. Not sure OSHA would approve of that today!

I saw a 2022 Jeep Rubicon with a 392 at my local fair for sale...granted it's pretty cool to have a hemi V8 jeep but not at $87,998.00
