Glad you got it working.Well i should have lead with that...
And what follows is the most I've been embarrassed for a while (and still had my clothes on ) normally I would just disappear and not share my stupidity but here it is ...

That stupid jumper came apart inside i guess, when I used the meter with the "tone" option , nothing... ALL IS GOOD NOW !!!
I now feel like an idiot for wasting your time ! I apologize... I used the jumpers so I wouldn't have to stick my fumble fingers down in there while testing, never dreamed one would be bad... sorry
and THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME!!!
We need to keep that part number handy incase someone else has a socket fail and doesn't want to rip out the headlight...
I think Ford is gonna offer to fix it but I dont really want those guys messing with it now...
The coveted 4 F 's award ??? Im gonna add some more F's to it![]()
I can imagine that. It's not the one I was using earlier...
Upon further inspection, I saw where the technician cut a Grey wire that doesn't even go to the socket .. another crappy splice that i tried to do better and at least crimp and heat shrink ...

Are you sure that you didn't shock yourself replacing that socket?So... and nobody get mad because I can't help it, but i noticed the part is listed as a "female" connector, and its "small", and its from "China" AND it saved me, sooo... its my little China girl...oh oh oh oh , little China girl,
Oh oh oh oh , little China girl.
My trucks a mess without, my little China girl,
Can't safely turn left without my , little China girl , but now I hear her , loud as thunder , I just installed my China girl ,
She says "shhhhhhhhh BLINK"
She says "shhhhhhhhh BLINK"...
Pretty sure Bowie would approve!So... and nobody get mad because I can't help it, but i noticed the part is listed as a "female" connector, and its "small", and its from "China" AND it saved me, sooo... its my little China girl...oh oh oh oh , little China girl,

Yeah that one didn't want to shrink up all the way for some reasonGOOD JOB:
I can CONFIRM you have it wired correctly but I would hit the heat shrink again to suck it up tighter on the wires (moisture intrusion)
To Clarify for others that may have this issue.
Red to Brown = Park Lights (Pin #5) Connector
White/Blue to Yellow (ish) Amber = Turn Signal (Pin #7) Connector
Green/White to Green = Ground (Pin #1) Connector
Pin #1 = Park/Turn Ground
The Grey wire that they (Cut) is Pin #8, note pin #8 is only on the Halogen Assemblies and not on the LED's - it will have a blanking plug, just like Pin #6 has in this pic.
Pin #6 is for Led Assemblies (only) DRL Power for the Led Strip
Pin #8 = Low & High = Headlight Ground (Halogen)
Pin #4 Directly below it = Headlight Ground (LED)
These 2 wires splice together in the main truck harness
So YES they cut a wire that they did not need to.
