After almost 2 years and 18k miles my smile is starting to fade some. I love just about everything about the truck except the battery life. If I’d known I’d have to drive it an hour every day to keep it from going into deep sleep mode I would’ve thought twice about getting this truck. Dealer says battery is good, but a little weak, charges it and sends me on my way ?

Have you tried using a battery maintainer on it? Mine won't go into deep sleep mode unless it's not driven in 14 days but it does get weak from not driving it often or long distances. My intelligent access wouldn't lock or unlock but since adding the maintainer the battery stay fresh now. Most of my commutes are short so it never has time to full charge. Maybe give one of those a try and see if that helps.

Nice Bronco Sport!

My Mom has one in Area 51 with the Badlands trim as well. Smooth ride, plenty of power with the 2.0L, and super capable on and off road.

i finally got a Ctek and have it on it right now. After two trips to the dealer I’m giving up it’ll be replaced. Here’s hoping the constant, annoying messages on my Nav screen and FordPass app go away!

Stanley makes a trickle charger that works great for a vehicle you don't drive much and costs about $12. That or splurge for a better battery. In my experience about 2 months drains the battery to where it doesn't work.

I have worked in the automotive aftermarket for nearly 30 years and unfortunately three years on the original battery is very common. I suggest going to your nearest Advance Auto store and replacing your battery then all your problems will go away.
