Took me a minute, but I figured (googled) it out.
Type 4 might actually be a good thing in a long run (like 50 generations). Especially if you consider that back feet of horses are quite extreme case of type 4 where the heel has moved up a feet or two and the contact point is the toenail.
Few generations with type 4 gene-line and you could probably run 100m in 5-6 seconds.
