Has Ford ever called it "Hot Pepper Red " ?
I thought it was Hot Pepper Metallic.

I've always thought of it as much more orange than red (burnt orange maybe ?)
Most people that comment on it call it " a nice shade of orange".

Was there ever a HPR before 2019 ? Seems strange they would come out with a color for one year than discontinue it and bring it back two years later. I’m ordering a HPR in a week. Love that color.

This color. And cyber orange were my choices of color. Drove an hour to see a red one. Only to find it got sold on my way there. Very sharp color!

I special ordered in early 2020 after HPR was gone. Dealer had a 2019 HPR on the lot which got my attention, but wrong trim, and I wanted a 2020. He said they did not sell many in HPR.

HPR is offered on Bronco. Otherwise it may not be back again on Ranger. Both from MAP.

HPR is still my favorite color, but would not trade our White Platinum.

I call it Hot Tomato. Much more accurate. The color does grow on you after two months.

Color wise, I had tvd vinyl decals send me samples, and the closest match was scarlet red. . . go figure.

I got mine with the Sand Interior. It matched the Rustolium Driftwood nearly perfectly, yet outside the car, it looked gray, and yet, it matched.

I needed zero seconds for the color to grow on me. Maybe it’s the way the sun hits it in Hawaii, I dunno but it seems like it changes colors depending on its mood.

HPR does seem to change slightly depending on the light. I think it looks darker in overcast conditions, like the pics below.

Looks great Lee! There's one (HPR) in the development across from me. When I go by in the days it has a more orange hue and when the sun is setting its more deeper red. I like the way mine does that too, it's almost like having a different color truck day and night.
