I wonder if it's something to do with the local gas. I also mostly use gas from Costco in San Diego and I get 18 MPG 80/20 hwy/cityMines about the same as yours Polar Bear. 16 driving normally, 17 if I get out and push while starting.Less than 900 miles so far. I've tried 87 and 91 without noticeable difference in mileage. Gas has been 100% Costco so far and CA has SPECIAL blends. I've also driven in the city with stop and go 95% of the time. There are few flat areas in San Diego, except some roads along the coast. I need some long distance highway road time but wont get the opportunity for another 2-3 months and then I'll also get some fuel out of Mexico to see if that makes a difference. Maybe we have some thirsty injectors?
