- OE battery replaced in 2023 (ASS stopped working as the sign of battery degradation / BMS knows), 4 years ain't bad and I replaced it proactively.
- EGR sensor went out around 60k miles, felt like the transmission. Turned out to be a cheap fix.
- Factory rear brake pads wore completely uneven in the rear, rear right inner pad was down to the metal and all other pads were fine. New rear rotors and pads at 73k miles. Factory front brakes have another year+ of life left. They do however have a slight pulse now so I may do them sooner than later.
- Broke a (plastic!) OE sway bar link off roading. Upgraded them for <$100. I have the Ford Performance Fox 2.0 leveling kit and this is a not unheard of failure on the forum. There should be a sticky thread on it as an easy suspension upgrade over OE.
- 10k mile oil changes with a Blackstone UOA test on each one to prove the factory interval is safe... but only with top quality synthetic / extended life oil. My data proves Motorcraft/dealer or oridnary synthetic is at its limit at 10k, can't recommend it with a TBN nearing 1.0
- I plan on replacing coolant, axle/diff fluid, brake fluid, and spark plugs around 100k; no indication to me of needing it ahead of schedule.

Overall I'm very happy with the Ranger. Fixes have been *very* cheap and overall no major issues, meanwhile amazing power, capability, and mpg.

When my EGR sensor went out at 65k I swore it was the transmission as well. I had the Ford dealer fix it. Did you replace yours? Or have someone do the work? I’m assuming it will go bad again before too long.
That has been the only issue I’ve had, I’ve had my dealer do all of the book recommended maintenance and will continue to do so for the sake of record keeping to keep my Lifetime Powertrain warranty in tack.

I did it. It is an annoying swap but not a hard swap. The cheap EGR is like $30 on rockauto and a Motoracraft is like $100.

What can I say, nearing the 95,000 miles mark on my 2019 XLT and all is good...or should I say absolutely fantastic! I've had zero zip nada...not one single issue with this truck. It has seen the worst of roads. In fact, I drive it weekly off-road down here in the Florida Everglades. The engine is perfect, runs just like the first day off the show room floor. I've had no issues with anything else on the truck, either, not one single hiccup. Everything is functioning as good as new. I've performed routine maintenance with regular oil changes through my local dealer, the works package which includes tire rotation. Everything on the truck is bone stock, including the tires. Gas mileage is holding steady at 26.5 on the rural roads of Palm Beach County, going back and forth to work--city driving. Not bad at all! Can't ask for more as far as reliable is goes, imho. Both my previous F-150's had some issues by this point. And I've heard of horror stories on here from others with their Rangers but I just can't see any of that happening with this truck here. Knock on wood or just good luck or maybe my driving style, all is holding steady. Hope the same with others!

Ready to break 148,000 on my 2021 and same here, not even a trouble light and no issues at all.

My Ranger transported me to Gauthier Vineyard for some grape juice tasting.
What bumper guard thing do you have? Got a front pic?

I think it was from Arias. I live in a county with a very VERY high deer population. This truck is as far off road as it ever gets right there so I call it a deer guard. It has saved me twice on this truck and twice on my Grand Cherokee.

2020 with 105,000 miles. At this point I can say it's the most trouble-free vehicle I've ever owned.
Crossing my fingers on the transmission.
Repairs so far have been limited to new rear brakes, rear shocks, battery, and DPFE sensor.

Lotta deer where I live too but I can't add anything that makes it longer or it won't fit in my garage.
Clears the garage door by a good 1.5".

Yes, I can see the problem there then.
My son had a Ram 2500 that he has to almost touch the wall with the front bumper to get the garage door to close.

148,000 on my 2021 and not even one glitch. It goes in every 5k for whatever it needs.

I have a 1x4 with a piece of carpet stapled to it nailed into the back wall of the garage. Ease into the garage until the front bumper touches it and I still only have 1.5" clearance with the garage door.
