HELP!! Drove thru a puddle of road paint 🤬

As others have said clay is probably your best do it your self solution. I had a super duty that was white platinum tricoat. It got black paint over spray all over the hood and one side. I tried various compounds with a buffer and several chemicals to no avail.
Ended up with a clay bar kit and it worked well. Took some time and effort, super dutys are BIG. I use a clay mitt now as an occasional deep clean. If the mitt doesn't do it, you might try the actual clay bar as a last resort. Good luck.

I’ll be honest I didn’t read the entire thread. If there is anything I know of that will work it’s called Acrysol. Kent Automotive makes it. I have been using it for 20yrs. Hopefully you can get it off.

Has anyone had the misfortune of driving thru road paint?? I did the other day unknowingly…. When I got out of my truck I thought it was road grime but upon further investigation I had white paint all over the entire passenger side of the truck, wheel wells (front and rear), tailgate and rear bumper, front and rear tires and rims I have looked on the inter web for ideas to get it off but no joy as of yet.

I really think I am going to have to repaint the entire side of the vehicle W/insurance claim. I still can’t believe this happened %$#%^
