Hey guys,

Newbie here. I've had my 2023 Ranger XL for almost a year now, and I've finally come to terms on voiding my warranty by getting a lift. Upon getting my Ranger I instantly swapped out the stock tires 255/70/R16 HT with some 285/75/R16 RT to get a slight lift and an aggressive stance/look. I'm looking to get a total 4 inches of lift via 2 inch suspension (5100s) front and back, and a 2 inch body lift.
2-2.5 inch perch setting up front with a add a leaf 1.5-2 inches in rear and a 2 inch body lift with blocks.

Im going to start with the 2 inch suspension lift first to get a feel and to see if its still necessary to push through with the body lift. Below are all of the materials I have on hand and would appreciate any insight if I'm missing or needing anything else as a requirement before taking it to the shop for installation.

5100s front/rear
Add a leaf up to 2 inches
Aftermarket UCA up to 4 inches
Aftermarket tie rods
Body lift kit

TIA!

First of all - holy crap what a nice looking truck!

I was never a big fan of the 6g front end - that “H” shaped bumper was driving me mad. However, seeing it now in Shadow Black, I just might be converted!

Since you have a next gen Asia/Pac market Ranger, you won’t get much from this 5th generation, mostly North American owner’s forum except a whole lot of envy.

With the plans you have, your trucks going to look amazing!

Thanks Duke! Appreciate the kind words. I've always taken a liking of the sqaure body trucks and when my old work horse took its last breath, this one conveniently presented it self.

She's not all square but she has the lines you just can't refuse. The black on her, ugh, it's something else. By the way, we're in the same boat as 5th Gen... it turns out 2023 was the last of that Gen.

Suspension lift I can agree with. A body lift I do not agree with as there is no real advantage to it.

My suggestion if you are.going for the touring aspect is to look at Dobinsons. They have really nice stuff all together for lifting vehicles while being able to hold a.fair amount of load.

If you insist on a body lift, do everyone a favor and sell the truck and go find yourself a " Bro-Truck".....

Thanks for the words of wisdom, Frenchy! Hahaha... I too opposed body lifts and was dead set on never getting one. After doing the math and computing the cost for each additional inch of lift would cost.. I became open to the tought.

Like I said, I'll have to get the 2" suspension lift on first and try it out for a while. I may not need anything extra. Come to think of it the 5100's rear shock only allows up to 1" of lift, so the 2" add a leaf I plan on using will already push the limit. Although I've been told that it may actually only be 1.5"

So that body lift may not even be possible at all.
