Head unit with front facing camera???

Came across this on aliexpress. If I gave it a gamble I would do the 10" version. The main reason it caught my eye is it comes ready for a front facing camera. Been wanting to setup a trail cam. All the interfaces I've researched would cost about the price of this. This would also add a little upgraded look.

My concerns are will it work properly with ford sync and B and O upgraded system.

Check out the pics and wiring it comes with and tell me your opinions.

I have a 10.2" Android head unit in my Jeep and it is terrific.

However, so much stuff is routed or accessed through the head unit on our Rangers, I would make sure that a good return policy was available.

Some of the Chinese units can cost you a fortune to return.

I would think that this unit would replace Sync (no great loss there) and take over all its functions.

I abandoned the idea. Couldn't find enough info to make it work properly. My issue is I have a lariat with BnO system. Too much would be lost. If I had an xl or xlt I would have moved forward.

Thanks, I'm getting the XL and the only thing that matters to me is the backup camera and Android Auto.

I just started reading into what options there are.

So the install complete. The checker board patterns are too calibrate the 360 camera. He re-calibrated my wife’s Everest. Well I keep trying to upload a short small video showing the 360 3D but it won't upload. It's only 17.8 mb.

I had a pioneer head unit in my last truck. Had an android OS HDMI stick on one of the USB ports. It was a PC in my dash. You could watch YouTube while driving and take phone calls at the same time. Full touch screen functionality with any app you want. I’ve been tempted to ditch the sync unit and popping that one in but not sure if I can carry over the functionality

Thinking this Sony unit is the way to go if you want high end. Front camera ready and the ability to use full screen & wireless carplay/Android auto. Maybe next year for my XL.
