What Is the Name/Nickname of Your Ranger?

I’m still undecided. My wife calls it Junior since it replaced a 2002 Sierra 2500 with a 6.0 V8 (the Ranger tows our 4000 lb boat better). He does have a Napoleon complex and wish I had thought of that name!

One thing I am sure of - trucks should have masculine names and boats should have feminine names.

Maybe this is just a "girl" thing, but my wife has always named her vehicles through the years. Lucy, for her Buick Lucerne. Ruby, for her red Lincoln MKX. And now Pearl, for her Lincoln Nautilus. My Ranger is the first vehicle that she succeeded in talking me into naming. Well, since it is a Ranger, and I live in Texas, AND I am a Texas Rangers fan (both baseball and law enforcement), I have nicknamed my Ranger "Tex". I know, that is kind of corny, but then again, so is naming a vehicle. Am I the only one with a name for my Ranger?

I name all my favorite things- knives, guns and vehicles. I haven’t settled on a name for my Red Ranger though I call it “anger” Or “ed” at times. I had a First gen Ranger for a work truck And it was beat to hell. The R broke off of the emblem, so it spelled “anger”.
