Picked up a couple of H&K toys, an SP5 and an SP5K-PDW. Got optic mounts on with a couple of new Vortex Defender XL dots and sent the lower off to use as a template for a new Magpul lower to be modified to fit the K version so I can swap in a Timney trigger like I did with the SP5. Now I’m just waiting on the stamps to come back to SBR them and the stamp for another SiCo Omega9k suppressor. Should be a couple of fun little suppressed SBRs!

It’s a PMX. Not sure how to edit.
I edited it for you. I get dyslexic myself and have to reread my posts all the time.?

You should have an edit tab but it's been so long since I had regular software on mine I can't remember where it is. lol

14 state AG`s file suit against Glock.......https://www.breitbart.com/2nd-amendment/2024/12/13/14-state-attorneys-general-file-suit-against-glock-handguns/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&fbclid=IwY2xjawHK1WBleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHYro61sWV8Urg70BGanv3UrzUG99NQOBXdzBUPUPCtlk636YyQF2MKO7uA_aem_uVl3U7ns107rkKTl7tc4Ng
The suit is over the criminal use of switches that convert semiautomatic Glock handguns into fully automatic firearms. Glock does not make the switches, and their use in the U.S. is already illegal, but the attorneys general claim Glock needs to change the way their guns are made so that the switches will not work.

Platkin commented, “For decades, Glock has knowingly sold weapons that anyone with a screwdriver and a YouTube video can convert into a military-grade machine gun in a matter of minutes.”
This is such BS! So because someone can create a work around it's the manufacturers fault now for not designing it better?

They should be going after those who ALTER their guns and or make the switches not Glock. Typical brain dead politicians.:explode:

The goal is to damage or destroy Glock, not to stop the sale and use of illegal modifications to hand guns.

They should be enforcing existing laws, but that won't damage Glock.

Gotta hope Glock wins and is awarded all legal fees from each and every state.

I worked on a home bluing project, the slow way.

Rusting agent:
3/4 tsp non-iodized salt
1tbs white vinegar
4 tbs hydrogen peroxide

Completely degrease your parts (brake cleaner) and then wipe a coating of the rusting agent evenly on the metal. It'll quickly form red oxide.

Drop the red rusty part into boiling distilled water, and the red oxide converts to black oxide.

Card off the powdery black oxide (I used steel wool and paper towls) and you are left with a blued finish.

I did this process seven times and got a deep black that I'm happy with!

After the last carding, I pickled the metal with WD40.

I might try this process on my old Ruger Security Six .357 Magnum
