The newest addition!
2022-03-26 11.19.07-1.jpg

Notice anything wonky with it? HAHAHAHA This is THE FROG GENOCIDER 2000!
I bought this after taking down 4 poisonous cane toads in my back yard where my dog actually got ahold of one and started frothing at the mouth. After hitting the Google machine, I learned they are an invasive species and people are encouraged to humanely kill them. On my first night I used a regular old BB pistol I've had forever, but it's not the most accurate or powerful and it's a little tired. So I ordered this for next day delivery and a tin of pellets and it seems to be doing an efficient job.

Chris, I have small hands too and Glocks never felt right for me. My two carry guns are my S&W M&P Shield 9mm and my Sig 365 XL. Both have slim grips and fit in my hand perfect. I also have a Springfield Armory 1911 EMP in 9mm with a 3" barrel. This (and all my 1911's) are really great guns and they have a nice slim grip and very comfortable to carry. You should check one out but be warned, 1911's are addictive and they always seem to follow me home.

jmb put a lot of hours in on the grip angle and size / shape for the 1911. in my mind he did an amazing job.

It's CO2 powered. It came with two different cylinders to either fire BBs or pellets. So far it's plenty powerful enough for one shot kills. It's the Crossman Vigilante.

Very nice! Love the two tone. Don't think I've ever held a 1911 that didn't feel comfortable in the hand and it's hard to beat a single action trigger. Wife and I both have smaller hands as well, G43's fit well and are great for EDC, slim, simple, light weight. Add +1 Pearce base pads to give it the same capacity as my 1911. Have put thousands of rounds down range with this setup and not on hiccup out of either of the two 43's we have. Might be something for you to consider if you want to reduce bulk.

I think that's the one I looked at (I get the numbers mixed up on Glocks) before buying my M&P Shield. The Shield was just a better fit for me so I bought that one then also bought a Sig 365XL. That has slim grips too and holds more rounds. Honestly you can't go wrong with any of these as they're all great for CCW.

Luckily here we don't have to worry about printing like back in MA  but a good holster and belt are the key for comfort. I've been using an Alien Gear Cloak holster and a Kore Essentials Tactical belt. I love the belt as it has a track built into the back of it for better adjustments compared to a regular belt which I always seem to be in between holes. lol

Will definitely have to check into one of those belts. Have the same issue of being in between holes(why does that make me chuckle everytime? lol!)

Only holster I've found to be discrete and comfortable is an old leather IWB. Only downfall, with any soft holster, is you always have to be mindful the sides don't fold in and catch the bang switch when re-holstering.

Thanks for the heads up.

Put a lot of rounds through my little SR-22, but never had a slack trigger. Something to look out for though.
I just checked mine and it falls below that number. I probably have 15,000+ rounds through that little gun and never had a malfunction. Of course now I just cursed myself and I'll need to send it back.

Just dug mine out of the truck. It lives under the seat in my 10/22 takedown bag with the rest of my "get home kit."

Mine is under that serial number as well. And like yours, it's been a solid performer. 1 or 2 FTEs which I attributed to ammo, but that's about it.

With as many rounds as we've put through ours, 10kish on mine, I would think we would've seen the "intermitant slack single action trigger pull," at some time. I'm betting we're good.

That being said, if I ever encounter it, even once, it's going in.

Yes I agree if I ever encountered it, it's going back but mine's been a safe queen for years now. Since I bought my Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite and the M&P 22 Compact we never really take the SR22 out with us anymore. Since moving here I bought so much stuff that we either couldn't have back east or had to jump through hoops to get it wasn't worth it. I should probably sell the SR22 since it's just sitting in the safe.

I haven't ran that many rounds through mine but the serial number starts with 361. I bought it for cheap shooting fun but I haven't had many chances to play with it.

I've considered swapping mine for a 22/45. But it works so well I can't justify the spend.

Nothing wrong with a safe queen though.
