I'm a bit, ehhhhhh, on Facebook. I hate all of the stupid belly aching, crappy Karen behavior. I think that in the past 16 years of my career, I've come to dislike people and their behavior. Facebook is people, and their behavior. On the other side of the coin, it allows me to keep up with the few people and family I do like, and has been great for my hobbies (primarily my Mustang and Ranger).

I just scroll by the crap an stop at stuff I want to see/read. If you post something that takes more than 30 seconds to read that isn't an article I'm interested in I scroll by. I follow a few groups an I love "that guy" that's so offended by a post he has to announce he's leaving the group. Move the F on, no one cares what you think. I do get mad at how the tech industry edits in favor of one political side yet claims their now a "publisher" an "just a platform".

friends, a word of advice. yes it will sound tin foil hat, ignore if you wish. some of you have posted pictures of your firearms and the serial numbers are clearly showing. I am not offended in any way by your guns or the add ons you have done, sports, hunts, defense use etc. of them. I support gun ownership and think all good citizens should (and DO have, despite government abuse and over reach, indoctrination of citizens) have the right to ANY firearm they want to buy, build and so on. However, my friendly suggestion is that those who have posted pics that show the serial numbers should remove or blur out those identifiers. it is slowly becoming a trend that bad characters are not just using firearms in crimes with numbers and identifiers removed, but finding legit numbers online of like make and model and putting the legit numbers on a firearm that is not actually that factory issued firearm for that number. when i first heard of this from a family member that works with dhs, i thought well so what, big deal. they then explained that the falsely labeled guns are used in crimes and dropped or placed on purpose to mislead authorities. one example they have me was 4 glock 17s all used in crimes and all had matching numbers... so if you live in a state where things get litigious and the media is looking for the "evil gun owner" that let his gun slip into the hands of bad guys this could be a headache. records can be checked by authorities if they wanna dig and the numbers can lead to purchaser - transferees - and so on. you get the idea.. is this unlikely to happen to you yes. very. but the way some try to demonize guns and gun owners and use any and all things to remove freedoms, it is better safe than sorry. plus i would rather not have to show or prove what gun i own or dont and if i was somehow tied to crimes.

Good call and you're right about cloning serial numbers. I always try to post the opposite side but sometimes forget. With 3D printers and 80% lowers it can be easy for a bad guy to take your number and add it to one of those.

with popular models factory and aftermarket parts are also easy to label falsely. if one had the odd desire they could build almost a full factory at casual look- appearing and functioning glock 17 21 22. again i think its unlikely at best to happen to one of us, but is worth an extra second to blur out the numbers.

Installed about 90% of the Glock 43 Taran Tactical Innovations spring kit in my 43 this morning! I say only about 90% of the kit went in the gun because I elected to keep the stock striker spring but changed everything else. I also put on a set of TruGlow sights.

so over the past few decades it seems like so many bigger better faster etc. cartridges and rifles have come along. which is great, but i still kinda want one of these as ugly as it is. wood classic style looks nicer but the ability to not worry about nicks and dings means it would be easy to take along and not have "im beating up something nice" guilt. i feel like i could get a lot of use out of a solid medium cartridge like the 30-30 win. when we would could get ammo it was not pricey, its not too heavy or too rough on the shoulder, would do the deal on anything i would hunt esp. in my area where most shots are well inside 150 yards. what do yall think? anyone have one or experience with them? The flash hider may be take off asap if i got one lol. just looks too silly and i doubt offers any real benefit on this setup.

Lever guns are cool.

But that Mossberg(?) is hideous.

If you're looking for a "tacticool" lever gun, I'd point you to the Henry model X. Shown below in 30-30.

Or the Marlin 336 dark...

If I were buying a lever action it'd be a Marlin or Henry. A Mossberg lever action is like buying a fish sandwich at a burger joint.

Doubtful that a 12 Guage in that configuration would be very shootable one handed. .410 might be better.

Henry has the Axe for you...

Not sure about your state laws, but attach a scabbard to your big boy and BOOM! You're the terminator.

I'll bet a person could "Rifleman" the shit out of that little guy.

With the ammo shortage I can't tell you the last time I've seen 410 on the shelves. When I did see it it was crazy expensive. 12 Gauge is in good supply here, 20 ga you can find. The only reason I look is my daughter thought about a 410 hand gun but why bother if you can't get ammo.

Damn, you're right.

I hadn't looked at .410 recently. Just checked my favorite online ammo supplier and nothing.
