The GPS volume is too low to be easily heard. The radio volume does not appear to control the GPS volume. Any ideas how to increase it?

As soon as you hear the gps voice turn the volume up. You can use the volume knob or the + on the steering wheel.

Don't hit the - button! I messed up once and was lowering the radio and the gps came on and I turned the gps all the way to 0. ?‍♂Then it's a guessing game and you have to time it right raising it back up. lol

Thanks…I did try turning the radio volume up (using the knob)…it only increased the radio volume, not the GPS volume…seem to remember the GPS volume used to be higher.

You have do it while the GPS is actually talking

You’ll see the volume indicator say “Prompt Volume” if you catch it while it’s talking.

You might also be able to plug your phone in and use Google Maps to adjust it. It has a dedicated mode to adjust the prompt volume in the settings. It’ll keep playing audio to that channel and you can adjust the volume as you like.

Cool, I didn't know that. But I should really read the manual one day too.?

On my Lariat, I can hit the OK button (right side I think) which makes the built-in Nav repeat the last spoken guidance. Then I can adjust it while it’s talking. Not sure if you can make it repeat via the touchscreen.

Same thing with Waze active too. Only can adjust the volume when the app is talking to you. Otherwise it’s just the radio volume
