I have a 2020 Ranger when I had 7000 miles on it the hanger bearing went out and the GPS did strange things. The dealer replaced the bearing and the driveshaft and also fixed what ever was wrong with the GPS. The work order showed they replace the bearing and driveshaft but never showed what they did with the GPS. I have a little over 10000 miles on the truck now and the GPS is acting up again, thankfully the bearing and driveshaft are fine. I hope I don't have to take it in every 2000 miles or so for them to fix the GPS, anyone have any idea what could be causing this problem. Thank you.

probably some kind of software reset for the GPS. most handheld units have this capability buried somewhere (usually a super secret combination of buttons).

WRT GPS behavior, keep an eye on reports of solar flares and CME's (we've had some recently). That kind of thing can mess with the quality of GPS behavior. I did a mountain bike ride today and my GPS data was ugly and messy, when it's usually much cleaner.

what exactly was the gps doing it may not be an issue with the truck astronomical events will affect the satellites as well could have been a weird fluke thing also depending on how many satellites are in range of you it may give you weird or inaccurate readings

I don't think it's an astronomical problem, it always works fine when I first start out in the morning but after about 20 minutes its starts acting up, I get a circle with cross hairs instead of the usual pointer and it starts asking if I want automatic daylight savings time and the clock also goes from 12 hrs to 24 hrs on it's own.but the audio works fine.

that doesnt sound like an issue with the gps it is an issue with your sync system
