Well, I've grown so annoyed at my Tremor vibration as I've been driving 75 miles each way to my returned to work after a few years of remote work. The vibration/shudder annoys me almost every mile as it shakes the seats, the mirrors and it can even be seen in the reflection of the hood. It's in my face the entire 3 hours of driving each day! I drive by at least three Ford dealers each way, so I decided to stop in and chat with someone new yesterday and ended up getting a line on a 23 Bronco Badlands, 2.3 with Sasquatch package. It is scheduled for build Jan 9 and I have the VIN...so it's not quite a ghost Bronco, but understanding that delays are still possible. My lease on mine is up in Feb 23, so I need to move on something. I've got some reservations regarding towing my teardrop with the heavy 4door Sasquatch package....

I'd be interested to hear others' thoughts on this move, particularly if you've got some first hand experience with the Bronco.

Hey Chris,

It’s too bad you have that issue and it seems worse than what many others have reported.

My only thought would be that since it’s on a Ranger platform, you may want to be assured the driveline is different enough on the 4-Door Bronco that you don’t experience a similar shudder at higher speeds. A very rigorous test drive is a good first start…..and a lot of fun. :)

With the weight of the Bronco towing would be better with the 2.7.

Also 4 door Broncos are hideous. And if going Badlands trim I'd skip Squatching it.

Apples and oranges. You either need a truck or you don‘t. Only you can decide that. But, if I was going 4 door Bronco and towing, I would want the 2.7.

Just today I made three trips to the dump. I need a truck.

Yeah. Agree. Having the bed is nice ...but only use it for large things every once in a while. I've got a low rack and cover too, and I've got a trailer when o really need big stuff. I'm almost over the thought that I NEED a bed.

That is my biggest concern with this setup. The 2.3 is more than enough in the Ranger. Tuned, it's fantastic. Some have complained about the 2.3 when towing in the Badlands, but not everyone. I'm LIGHT towing, nothing huge. With the FP tune, it is very close to specs of the 2.7 (330hp/385lbft vs 315hp/410lbft) ....so I'm curious....

Sorry about the problems with the Ranger, Chris! I hope they get the new Bronco to you in a timely manner! Enjoy the Bronco!
Thx!! If I could just get a 23 Lariat tremor Ranger, I'd probably get another one. But I'm told this is not gonna happen anytime soon due to part issues.

Forgot about the gearing.

With those gears, a tune, and your light trailer you'd probably have no problems.

Tough spot. If ordering I'd go 2.7 without Squatch. But being stuck with what's available that setup SHOULD work. You may want to consider swapping tires to something a bit shorter.

Get Bronco and keep Ranger? Dont get me wrong, not a fan of the Bronco as it did not sit right with me. The Ranger I did like and enjoyed while I had it. For now i have my 1993 Pathfinder(the current OffRoad toy) and a 1994 F150(truck my Granpa bought new). Both suit my need and I have found ot hamdy to have a truck at the ready. A SUV isnt a bad idea either. Just make sure its what you want!!

Thx! I've got an Explorer ST that I could easily tow the trailer with too... but like to keep that one on the road and clean...

I’ve seen a couple of YouTube reviews stating the Sasquatch package is not great on the highway, so if you’re driving 150 miles a day, I would research that question.

Dang Chris, I'm sorry to hear your Ranger is letting you down. From experience, if your a truck guy you will never be happy without one. I've tried, and it didn't work out worth a damn for me. I traded my '13 F-150 Platinum for a '19 Jeep Sahara, and it didn't take long before I realized I was lost without a bed to hall stuff. So, the Ranger was ordered.

I reserved a big Bronco in Oct. of '20, got screwed when Ford changed the allocation formula, and just canceled my order. But, from what I learned from a test drive in a 4 dr Big Bend w/2.3L is the engine was fine. But, I can't say if it would be the same with the Squtch package. However, I never heard anyone grumble about the power that owned a 2.3L w/the Squatch package. With that the thing that most were not happy with was the mpgs. It's nowhere near what Ford has listed. And with the 4:73 gearing, while it will move that Badlands down the road, I would think the mpgs would suck. Just some food for thought. If none of those things matter, I think you would be happy with a Badlands. Good luck on your decision.

Here's a great forum where you can get about any question you have answered. Heck, whatever question you have it may have already been answered with a seach. There is a ton of traffic on the site.
