Looks good Tom and I agree, buy what suites your needs! I just wouldn't be telling anyone I traded my Ranger for a Ridgeline though. lol J/K ? I do like the bed compartment and it'll come in handy on range days.
That's okay Dave I have a pretty thick skin I'm about ready to run over to the Tacoma World start a thread with pictures. LOL They already hate me because I got rid of my Gen 3 and bought a Ford Ranger...THIS ought to be fun.....LOL

But most importantly, since the tailgate can open to the side...

Can you install a Damper?!?!?

That would more than make up for any perceived slights.

Dave, I'm too old to be concerned about what others think. That's the benefit of retirement you don't give a shyt. For me, if it's everything I need a truck for and what I would need an SUV for. Backseat has a lot of leg and Headroom. But I keep them up any way I like the space back there to throw stuff like a bicycle. We're taking it up to the range on Wednesday

I'm just messing with you. :) I don't give a crap what anyone else thinks either! Looks like a good option for what you really need. I still like to go off roading and the range we go to is out in the desert with a lot of sandy washes to go through so fo now a 4x4 is essential.

Waiting for the Ford bashing in 3-2-1 :bandit:
They're not going to be back before they already did that. The Ridgeline is definitely going to generate some interesting comments. I've been on that forum for yeas as I had a 2008,2014 and 2016 Tacomas especially for accessories and stuff for yearsThe only vehicle they hate more than the Ranger is the Ridgeline..LOL

Everybody likes what they like and that's cool. I just always remind people that a Honda Ridgeline is a cut up Pilot without a full frame or Real 4WD capability. That's why it rides like a car.
I could have bought a Ridgeline with the Honda family discount, but for my needs I wanted an actual truck.
This is how KBB compares Ridgeline to Tacoma. They are very kind people. lol

That magic seat and trunk.. Still wish I had those! And Honda sensing is imo, the best in class for semi autonomous driving

Wonder if Carvana is giving good prices for all vehicles, with the situation we are in. Might have to find out and then be ready for when stock stabilizes so I can get a good deal on a new Ranger.

I don't understand how they could sell a Lariat two wheel drive like mine and mine had 6K miles. https://www.carvana.com/vehicle/1506822 They are selling A LARIAT WITH LESS MILES THAN MINE!! FOR $36K that's how much they gave me!!
Nice details on that one - exhaust, exterior lettering, 4WD and B&O audio...

The Ridgeline was a second place contender for me. The handling on the AWD was really nice and I liked the tricked out bed. But my wife (who loves her little HRV touring) found the interior uncomfortable- the console was awkward with th he seats having swing down armrests and she hated the parking brake- and the infotainment system was lacking. I really loved that blind spot lane changing camera though.

So we saved about $7500 and got the Lariat 2WD. The 0% interest financing clinched it. She loves that both front seats are power operated and thinks they are far more comfortable.

Sometimes I wish I had gotten the B&O, but the stock Sony 6 speaker system rocks harder than the Honda.
