Wow, amazing quality, made here in the USA. I don't need this, but I want this.

But the price tag is gotta be scary. How much? I don't see a price for this model on their site?

Okay , guys, we need to prevent a medical crisis here. This really cool camper is loaded with gas lifting struts. Looks like it has 10 or more of them. When Dave (@AzScorpion) gets here he is going to claim they are dampers and work himself up into a terrible lather.

Dave, everyone here is fond of you and we don't want you being rushed to an emergcy room. For your own health and well being, these are not dampers, my friend. They are gas lifting struts. Slow deep breaths. In... Out....

I've wanted one of these for awhile, since before I bought the truck. But I had heard of a number of issues with the original design and so I shifted to just wanting a truck cap so I could set it up in the back for camping which is how I ended up with a Supercab. I saw the V2 this morning and it appears they have solved all the things I had issues with in the original design. However now its another new, unproven design. Will it have failures a year in? Who knows? I hope it works out for them I like the philosophy of their company.

Wow - love this tent - pricey? Very! But it’s a topper and an RTT, so I get it. However, it also makes me think that, with a few mods, existing RTTs could be as cool - it wouldn’t take much to install gas struts, right? I was surprised/disappointed when their Super Light didn’t pop-up with struts.

I didn’t see an RTT only version of the V2 on their site, just the rear rack/RTT offerings. Still, cool products - well thought out.
