Ok, thanks! Is that link and discount still good?

I also have a 2008 Mustang GT that I installed a supercharger and a bunch of other stuff and a custom tune. I didn't know about these GFB DV+ options. I currently do not notice any delay in the boost so I'm curious if this would also be good for my Mustang. I might need 2, so big discount. ::)
Super chargers tend to speed and slow with the engine RPM, so they build boost when speeding up, and not really when they slow down. I don't think I've ever seen a supercharger with a BOV setup of any kind. I just looked up some, and it does appear that they have a BOV. However I doubt the GFB item that we're talking about fits your application.

Ah ok, thank you. So this isn't going to do much for my Mustang then.

I do want to get one for my new Ranger, as many of you say it really helps.

I would not see this impacting warranty unless something with the turbo failed and they tried to blame it but i highly doubt it. Many people use these on the mustang etc and have never seen a warranty denied post because of this said part.

Thank you
Is the discount code "Ranger10" ?

Is this 50 state carb legal? I live in California with the screwed up laws here. Can't touch much without getting into issues with bi-annual smog inspection. If it California approved, there should be a sticker to go under the hood.

Just take it off when you get smogged.

I do too. You know we're exempt for 6 years. And this is the last thing I would even consider a concern with smog.

It has zero effect for a parked and idling vehicle and doesn’t throw a Check Engine Light. It is definitely safe to have I installed during a smog check.

Our test is not parked. It's run on a dyno. The only issue would be a visual one. Of course they have to be paying attention to be an issue.

Thanks for the replies guys! You all raise some good points, especially no smog for 6 years and I could just take it off for the smog inspection lol

Order placed! :)

ACTUALLY! In California, its now 8 years.
Polluting Emissions Law (AB 1274)
California law now allows for an extension in the exemption from smog verification. Newly purchased vehicles will now be exempt from smog checks for 8 years instead of six. The shift in frequency is thanks to advances in technology. The vehicle owner will have to pay $25 for the first two years for the exemption, and $20 the next six.
