I hope it dosen't affect gas milage too much. I drive mostly like a grandpa anyway, but I really hope it tames the 10 speed trans somewhat.

Let us know how it goes. I always use premium gas anyway so I'm thinking about getting it too

I gained 2 mpg on average with the tune.

Although the gain is negated at the pup since you have to run premium.

I know with my Livernois 91-93 performance tune I was getting a little better mileage than before. My overall average was 22.5 with larger tires and leveled.

I had it dealer installed. So far so good. Looks like gas milage is going to be good. It comes with a K&N filter, but I'm going to put a new paper filter back in. I'm a little scared of the K&N.

I'm just honestly curious about your apprehensiveness towards the K&N filter? I ran one on my old Ranger for 280,000 and cleaned it and oiled it every 50,000 with the cleaner/care kit and I had no problems. Considering I paid about 50 bucks for it, I undoubtedly paid for it many times over by not having to buy paper filters. They are indeed a pain in the ass to maintain, well, at least compared to the paper filters of course. I've also seen others express wariness towards K&N. Just wondering what the worry is about that's all. Is there something different about the K&N setup with the FPT?
Thanks

Always runnin' a K&N.

- Keep a second clean & oiled ready to go, so the changing is easy!

My concern with it is twofold, but not based on actual experience.
1. Designed to allow more airflow and thus providing less filtering
2. Getting an oil film on the mass air flow sensor
