Asking if anyone else had the stitching come loose on their cover. Honestly it just over a year old and bet it’s only been open less than 50 times..sent them a email but got no response from them and it’s been a week..

Not me, but mines been off for a year since I've been hauling a lot of big stuff. If it were me, I'd squirt a little clear silicon in there and gently clamp it while it cures, mainly to keep the threads from pulling out more.

Gator is owned by extang or tuxedo(I forget which), best bet is to contact them but a t being a year old? Probably not gonna have any luck.

I have the gator roll up but my stitching is fine, although I don't roll it up often.

I'm sorry to hear that your tonneau cover is coming apart at the seams. I apologize for the delay in response time. I'd be happy to take a closer look at this for you. PM me directly or email me at [email protected] when you have a chance.

I wish I could remember the brand I had on my early 2000's F150. But when the derecho blew through in 2012 it ripped off the soft tri-fold. I took a chance and contacted the company and they sent me all the necessary parts to repair it.
Point being , it's worth a try to track down the company.

Sorry about the cover, but it's out of warranty. To expect a company to replace it or anything like that on an out of warranty item is unfair. They warranty it for a year from factory defects. It has been over a year and only now is it showing wear/tear. I understand the desire to dislike a company that has denied a customer service claim, but really? "They blew me off" on an out of warranty item, what do you expect them to do? "Oh we're so sorry our product that lives out in the sun didn't last for forever"? I mean come on, it's fabric/leather out in the heat, things degrade. That doesn't mean the company messed it up.

I have a truxedo TruXport roll up cover on my truck for almost 2 years. There are some threads that have come loose, but it has done very well being kept outside in the FL sun.

I have a Truxedo Low Pro on mine, going on almost 3 years. No problems with it, no loose threads, BUT, it's dirty, and was thinking of contacting the company for a replacement that was clean !!!
Gosh Darn It...out of warranty.....

Lots of words for someone that don’t know what there talking about..I have a company car and the truck sits in the garage and only has 10k on it. It’s coming apart where the stitching started and ended and was not tied off correctly. You can see it plain as day in the picture above..
Next time you should keep your comments to your self if you don’t know the whole story..Thanks

Simple yes or no....is it out of the warranty period ???
And, since it's "just over a year old"....how much past a year ??? A day, a month, 6 months ???
And, did it start having problems on day 366 or did you notice any problems prior to day 365, and just ignored them ???
