Front sensors covered in ice and the warning is really getting on my nerves.

I think I will try spraying some ceramic coating on mine to see if that helps with build up. I bought turtle wax ceramic spray and used it on my snow blower. Worked well. I did not wipe it off like you would on paint.
I looked on the trucks dash settings and from the factory, the pre collision was set on normal, I set it on low to see if that helps, won't know til we get more snow.

You might want to be careful with that...it might possibly interfere with the radar function.....

I’ve had the same problem quite a few times during some cross country trips. It seems like one of those problems that weren’t identified. You’d think it would be one of those elements that can be heated to prevent freezing over

im sure it could be, but then the $40K truck becomes $42K and you lose another feature you wished you still had.

the problem was identified.... because they gave you a button to shut it off if it wasnt working correctly.
? I guess that’ll be another project for me. They make heating panels that are flexible with adhesive that could be wired up to the rear defrost switch. Just have to see if there is a way to open up the radar module
