Need to rip them to your computer, put them on a USB drive and relive the past. Might have some pretty good tunes there.
There are a few good ones in there. I could see the Queen box set towards the back which I'd love to rip along with Ted Nugent Double Live Gonzo.

A lot of memories there especially the Ted Nugent one. I saw him a few times back in the 80's and my ears have had a permanent ringing since.

Driving music?

The following received much of airplay on college alternative stations during the 1991 Persian Gulf War, 1992 Presidential election, etc. Mostly forgotten due to the airwaves being dominated by Nirvana, Radiohead, Concrete Blonde (Johnette Napolitano), Stone Temple Pilots, etc.

Urge Overkill - The Candidate

Stress - Flowers in the Rain

Curve - The Coast is Clear

An Emotional Fish - Rain

My 'driving music library' goes all the back to Glenn Miller's 1939 hit 'Song of the Volga Boatmen' and currently ends with the 2020 55 minute 'House Progressive Mix: The Storm is Here' by an unknown artist (electronic-techno). I snagged the last one off of youtube before it disappeared.

Has anyone tried what the Shaq man pitches - Epson Supertank printers. When I was working stiff yrs back I'd always buy cartridge refill kits and dork around with them, some with good results but I avoided the overpriced cartridges whenever possible. And still have a brother laser B&W printer.

Yup I finally got one from COSTCO and absolutly love it!!!

Download “HERE Maps” used to be Nokia maps. In the settings you can download state by state maps. I have sworn by it for 10 years now. Great for trips to Vegas and such when T-Mobile has crappy coverage.
Thanks, Luckily SO has unlimited data and loves using Waze, which is the best by far.

lol I have a large box in the garage full of pictures dating back to the early 80's. OMG the cloths we use to wear back then! Then the other day I was looking for an ethernet cord and in the bottom storage in my entertainment center I found a bunch of cd's. I told my girlfriend I should send these to the Smithsonian museum. ?
How I feel about my OLD mac stuff... I am still working on s 11 year old mac book I upgrade myself with a SSD drive!! Perhaps I should offer to the smithsonian my 1980's Harley P+A catalog that was only 20 pages deep?

I never understood why people on bikes blasted their music from the speakers. Bluetooth headsets always worked best for me. To each his own I suppose.

Speaking of CDs, I just ran across some old CDs that have pictures on them and realized I have nothing to put the CD into. Between CDs, computers and clouds, we'll have generations of history lost in the future. Time to start drawing on cave walls again.
Problem is that CD's, especially those you made, have a finite life span. The metallic layer and dyes begin to deteriorate in 5 to 10 years.

Helmet? Who wears a helmet? I usually wear a beanie one now. I'm afraid I wouldn't hear a car horn or screeching tires if I had ear buds or speakers in a helmet on.

if you need to vent, vent.

This info was out there before you made the purchase. You are still allowed to not be happy about it.

There are a number of navigation apps that work offline. My personal favourite was Navigon. And after purchasing several upgrades… they stopped support/updates and then disabled the app. I did get 10 good years
Having Sync 3 have not had any issues other than updating.. NEW 2021 Bronco after 3 months - *If you don't pay up your GPS stops working entirely! We just found out!
Yes have have Apple car play to run to the screen but LOTS of no cell coverage can and will interupt that use.. Makes us mad!!
Hey that sucks but unless they made a change you can download sections of maps on google maps to use in situations where you have no data. I did this for all of Ireland when I went on vacation in 2017 and it worked pretty well. It did not have access to live traffic data but it saved me from needing a gps or paying for a data plan while I was over there.

Ah, this raises my hackles over our GE refrigerator!

Couple of years ago our Amana fridge stopped fridging.

Went and looked at new ones and found a nice GE with features we wanted so we bought it.

6 months later it starts warning about the water filter for the door water. When the time is up, the GE actually stops dispensing water and making ice.

Come to find out that you can't just use the generic water filters like everyone else, nope, you have to get the "authentic" GE filter that has an RFID tag on it at a cool cost of $50 each.

Sorry, I'm not paying $100 a year for the "privilege" of owning a GE.

It came with a bypass filter to use if you didn't have a replacement handy, so I cut up the bypass and grabbed the RFID out of it and taped it into the fridge permanently.

Now I get a warning of "Not Filtered" whenever I use it but I change the filters every 6 months with the much more reasonable generic filters.

Screw you GE. I will NEVER buy another of your products.
GE is garbage. Three years ago we bought a GE fridge that was a special size because it had to fit in the opening built into our old house. It died five days in and by the time we got a replacement we had to throw away $200 worth of food. Replacement fridge lasted 3 days then quit, resulting in another $100 worth of food wasted. Got my money back and bought a Frigidaire that's still running.

I just cut my cord - or more accurately my Dish subscription, used to be able to switch from Comcast, Dish , Direct TV every 2 yrs to take advantage of new subscriber rates but that became more difficult . Cable companies do rip people off, I sold many millions of IT gear and services to Dish and many of their employees hated working for them, Charlie Ergen is only worth ~ $10B and is known to be ruthless. At least for know I'm happy to be streaming. At one time Dish was rated the worst company to work for - then they somewhat cleaned up their act but stayed in the top 10 worst. They hired a high level person to clean up their image and I distinctly recall him saying the employees had to be all wrong as he personally had worked for several worse companies, what a gem of a hire.

Yep. Amazing how we survived as a species before apps were invented. Ten years from now every new vehicle will be equipped with a credit card reader
