I find it a little excessive since they will basically turn black again the first time they are put to use GT350 cranks most likely.

I was thinking of just plasti-dipping mine while they're on the truck. Is that lazy? (with a good amount of masking of course).

If you're just doing it for looks and never really plan to use them, why not.

Personally, I plan on using them. I already have a recovery strap in the truck.

2 bolts each with 15mm head. take longer to mask off than remove.

Thing is I live in an apartment so i don’t have garage access. But if it’s that easy, i can just bring a 6 pack to a buddy’s place and do the quick removal + paint
