Thanks for sharing results and details! Been waiting for this bumper since it was announced- gotta say it looks great mounted on! A little long…but that’s expected if it’s meant to fit a winch under the bumper.
like Brett, though, if you had sensors, you think you’d be capable (and willing) to...
We need more drivers like you @Dr.Me
Good point on the resolution. I didn’t consider that, but higher res would need more processing power.
And seeing as using and switching apps already stutters a bit, I’m guessing the console’s computer isn’t too beefy. A higher cam could crash it!
Yeah I went wiser in the back for the same reason. Also helps just a bit as a reach into the back of the bed - but mainly to help the passengers in the back.
1 year in and I dont have any flaking yet. Hope they stay that way :)
good point, Tommy...haven’t been in an F150 to compare so I wonder if it’s better.
I do wonder though... would swapping the camera mess with the calibration of the lines and sensors?
Dunno! I’ll see if I can find specs or resolution on them F15 cameras though. Seems like a viable option.
Agreed it gets the job done when it needs to. No argument there.
I'm just in a parking structure at work and my apartment where a little more clarity and contrary wouldn't hurt. Considering it's a +40k truck, itd be nice if it were 1-1 to cars in lower price points.

Love my Ranger and it’s aids. But since I got it- I feel like the backup camera resolution and picture quality is a bit low.
I’ve been driving a Jeep Wrangler the last few days as a rental and i was quickly surprised with how much better that camera’s resolution is.
So I have to ask...is...
Looks awesome @khyros - great writeup.
I was considering filling that slot with a light as well. Appreciate you doing the homework for us on what fits and how. Kudos on the install.
Thanks for coordinating @RCMUSTANG
Received the module earlier this month. Finally got around to installing yesterday.
Works like a charm.
I do have a check engine, but I’ve only ran one engine cycle.
My window auto function also didn’t work at first, but the window cycle earlier in this...
I love the look and rugged texture of the factory liner.
I did just see that I have a tear in mine though. About 2 inches - on the bed side (right by where the door closes). I just saw it; now I have to see how ford handles it. Not too excited or optimistic.
Saw these and got tempted. I'm also on the fence though...since I'm also debating if I'll go for the raptor grill (which I'm guessing these may not mount onto)
Good question...I don't know for sure, but I think "not yet" is the answer.
If you go on the go rhino website, the buying process asks which type of cab you have for most trucks (f150 for example). The Ranger only has Supercrew as an option.
Try sending them an email. I wrote to them on...
The liner coated ones are black as well. My lighting is hot but they’re darker than the dark gray body for sure.
Installation was pretty easy. I took a by over an hour with a friend’s help only because i was picky on alignment. Can be done solo.
Basically go under the truck (no jack...
Mac Users: I had an issue with my first USB drive efforts. I used these settings to reformat my flash drive, and the system recognized and started installing right away.
Using Disk Utility:
"Erase" on top >> ExFat >> Master Boot record
New change I did is to use the recommended StuffIt...
Not yet- but I’ll give that a try.
I wasn’t use it Stuff it expander either. I was using Keka - which is a free zipping program.
Time for some more trial and error!
