Probably not if they are already offering $750 cash incentives on preorders.

Since the Ranger is expected to be very popular, they don’t need to offer much discounts.

When the 2016 Explorer came out (new body style...sort of) the best available was 4.49% for 72. This was before interest rates went up. Now you can get 1.9% for 60 or 4.9% for 84. However they did offer 0% last year I think. I had 0% for 72 on my 2015 focus st

Ford Credit operates separately from Ford. The 750.00 rebate is an incentive to buy and the Ford Credit incentive is to finance thru them vs another source. I've seen it on new releases before and also have it exclude high demand vehicles like GT350/Raptor. Who knows at this point but we may get lucky. When this has happened before, I payed large down payment, financed for 36 months and paid off after 90 days to get the greatest advantage.

Agreed that Ford credit is a bit higher but, I'm expecting Ford to announce soon incentives for using ford credit. Example; Finance with ford and get an APR of xxx%. Then Ill pick the best bank. To me, its a waiting game.

all interests rates depend on credit scores so keep that in mind.

On a couple of vehicles I've purchased the salesman said I should use Ford credit because they gave me another $500 - there was no limitation on how long I had to have the loan, so I did the initial loan thru Ford Credit, got the $500, and then turned around and re-financed thru a local credit union for about a percent cheaper. I was glad the credit guy told me about that - it was an easy way to save another $500. Don't know if they will be doing anything like that now though.

I got 3.69% for 60 months thru LightStream, an internet lender, that does not place a lien on your vehicle. They make it clear up front that you need a good or excellent credit score, and you have to use direct pay to get the lowest rate.

Sounds like there are still some options for halfway decent rates for now. Thanks for the input.

I plan to pay cash if I decide to buy the truck I ordered. Debt is a cancer.
That's always a good option; unfortunately not even can do that... I'll be putting a large chunk down myself as to avoid a significant payment.

Just got approved for 4.09% for 84 months. Before anyone says anything, i'm only financing roughly $21,162 for the Ranger and another $3,000 for taxes & fees for a total of $24-25k.
