The Huskys fit far better.

The WTs curled up at the edges after a few months.

How well do they lay flat and stay clipped in?

I think the new weather tech HP are a softer material than the originals. I have the originals in another car that are a stiffer material compared to the new versions. I would still like to see someone use a true rubber like old Amco mats from the 70's

My old Baja bug had those Amco mats in it when I bought it as a regular bug. They must've been in it for 20+ years and were still very servicable. Probably made of asbestos, lead solder & cigarette tar.

How well do they lay flat and stay clipped in?

I haven't had any problems with them moving around or interfering with the pedals. The clips work so well that we you remove the mat for cleaning you usually pull the two piece button clip apart. This doesn't do any damage as the clip snaps together, sandwiching the mat between the two pieces. And although both driver and passenger sides have the clips in the mat, my STX has the anchors only on the drivers side.

My truck came with the factory rubber mats and I am pretty happy with them.
