It may be a regional problem. Yesterday I walked into the local dealer and they had them in stock - I was worried my points would run out in a couple weeks. Several other dealers in the SF Bay Area (ie other side of the country) apparently show them in stock, too. If it is the same part number, you *might* try going above the dealer level and contacting Ford directly, or find out who the regional manager is & how to contact them. This can again sometimes be done by going from the top down, through Ford Motor Company rather than up from the dealer level. They can apparently sometimes get parts from one area sent to another to make a customer happy, according to my parts guy (who drives an awesome Ranger XLT 4x2 FX2).
