My back hurts just looking at that. How did it get up there? I am amazed still with that last generation of Crown Vics and the abuse they take.

Simple! All you need are two panels from a 16' garage door and ride 'er up there. Have your girlfriend stand on the hood to keep it from sliding off.

Really I'd give you the same advice I'd give anybody wanting to buy an offroad toy without enough room to store both the toy AND the trailer. Save your money to buy a home more suitable to you and the hobbies you want to participate in. If you can't afford to store the hobby, you can't really afford it.

I haul my motorcycle in my SuperCab, but If it were my sled, I'd just spend the $20-25/day for a U-Haul. Safer and less likely to damage the truck, sled or me.

I put an older trail sled into my 2010 ranger with a 6' bed and it bent the gate lol. Mabey fab yourself a sled deck or do something like this.

a folding trailer and throw a flat deck on it. at 4x8 the overhang the front a bit, and folds flat to stick in the garage.

A nighbour of mine used a jet-ski trailer for his sled. It took some modification to build a small platform on it. Saved him from buying one of those wheel kits to move it around in the garage. He drove an Avelanche. Everything in and around the bed was plastic and he didn’t want to mess that up. Plus it’s nice to have that storage for fuel, winter riding gear.

I like the folding trailer idea especially from Harbor Freight. Looks like I'd need to get some new tires as the ones on it aren't highway rated. That couldn't be too tough tho.

Update for those who might be curious: the width of the sled fit fine but the weight distribution was a little sketchy. Added a bed extender to support the back of the sled and it works great!

I'd have to disagree. This solution will work great for the 5x/year I need to haul the sled. The rest of the year the truck will fit in my garage (unlike a bigger truck) and actually fit my friends in the back (unlike an Scab). It's perfect for me!

I've been thinking of buying one of these so I can drag my riding mower to the service center instead of paying them to come pick it up and drop it off. the mower might fit into the back of the ranger, but it also may not.
