I bought a 2019 super crew ranger back in December been slowly trying to do things to it. I’m getting a 2.5 leveling kit put on Tuesday. Next up is what I am confused on. I’m not the most knowledgeable when it comes to vehicles but after the leveling kit is put on wheels and tires will be next. I’m sure this question has been absolutely dogged to death but with the leveling kit and without altering the crash bars what will be the biggest tires I can put on with no rub and would 17x9 with a -12 offset be poking the tires out or be going the other direction?

Think the question needs more input before we can direct you to something you’re going to be happy with.

How much paved road / highway use percentage wise? Do you plan to off-road? If so how much and how rugged the terrain?

What I’m getting at here is it’s all proportional to mileage, weight ratio to diameter and tread aggressiveness. Max size that will fit is all over this forum.

For instance same diameter as factory, nice highway tires that are lighter than off-road, quiet, yield high mileage and wear evenly for street tires. Good in mud/snow conditions but not so great for loose sand and rough terrain.

It is my daily driver. I’m looking to bulk up the look though and improve the stance some. It probably will never go off road. I was looking at 17x9 -12 offset wheels and 275/70r17s just don’t want to spend that money and them not fit or rub

-12mm offset?

You’re gonna have issues with that offset - modifications will be needed. Check the Tires and Wheels threads, there’s a ton of stuff to consider when making this kind of move.
