Finally a Ford TSB to Try and Fix our Transmission Problems (TSB 24-2046)

Mine is getting a new Valve body at 43 000km's (26 000 miles). Reported to the dealer that I was having issues with 4th gear, they pulled the code and did a quick drive and ordered the part.

Service rep was telling me they were seing a lot of transmissions problems with Ranger that tow or offroad and that's almost half of my millage.

Interesting. I tow and offroad but not the bulk of my mileage (16000 mi). But I drive using tow haul pretty much exclusively seeing it drives so much better. Wondering if there’s something to their observations.
