My YouTube feed is getting flooded with videos on the 6G.
The change that grabbed my attention was the addition of the fuel rail to the 2.3l like the Mustang/Explorer. The thing that restricts performance on the 5G is coming to the newer ones.
Moonroofs and more tech is great I suppose - I find myself wishing for heated steering wheels and still unavailable vented seats.
Powertrains are expanding and the biggest deciding factor in buying a new one.
The videos that focus on the 10R80 which we all focus on - especially when Nexgen weighs in - doesn't help sell the new models.
With 6G starting around 40K and many of us 5G owners driving paid off trucks I'm still committed to my truck and keeping it running/fixing the crappy engineering and manufacturing.
Long live the Ranger!
