Painting them the same body color makes it look factory. Good job. I only wish the fronts would taper to run flush with the bumper.

Can you confirm how much coverage these provide? The Lund website indicates 2.5” but they look the same as the Bushwacker which are 1.5” coverage.

Installed Rough Country Fender Flares. I painted them with Raptor Bedliner, gave them a rough finish.

Installed the Lund factory style smooth. I painted them in Ford Magnetic contrasting with the silver, but pretty close to the color of the Raptor wheels.. waiting on 1.5" spacers. I had to dremmel both fronts to make the side markers fit.

Did u have to sand or scuff the bare plastic first? Also what type of primer and clear coat?

Scuffed the flares with a scotch brown pad, cleaned thoroughly with some alcohol, 2 quick coats of dupli color adhesion promotor..dries almost instantly, no primer, color coat..which was mixed with flex additive as would be used for a bumper... no clear coat and they came out perfect.

Anyone have the actual height and width of the OE style Bushwackers? The dimensions listed are 6.13 and 7.0 height (F / R) and 1.5 width (F / R). But that's what it says for the extend-a-flare version too. The Lund has dimensions of 5.5 height / 2.5 width. Is that correct?

I have the extend-a-flare Bushwackers and am thinking of switching to the OE style or the Lund to tone it down a little (if anyone is looking for extend-a-flare hit me up, I'll be reasonable for a sale price ).

Lol thanks, I had just used a new tire foam, Meguiars black can. After it dried and a second wash it's nice and satiny

I like what you've done with your truck, very clean. Should order the OE black and gray FX4 decal to set off the look.

Thanks for the compliment, wanted the truck to be a head turning wow look as opposed to a head turning gaudy WTF look ?.
