Hello,
New here to Ranger family and just about to get my 2020 Ranger Lariat FX4 white with black package
I've been looking at Fender Flares, considering all options and how they look. I appreciate a low profile look vs. a BAM in your face look. And most of them are very wide and bulky IMO...
Ok so I'm looking at wheels and tires and have found a lot of options that will have quite low offsets. I definitely like the "flush" look but I HATE the poke of super low offset wheels/tires. I'm probably going to go with the Method Racing MR305NV in machined which are 17x8" et0 with 265/70/17...
So, I absolutely hate fender flares that have a "bolt-on look." As such, I have to choose between Bushwhackers that leave that silly open area at the bumper (seriously, NOBODY saw that during the design phase?) Or go with Air Design, and have to deal with the fake bolts.
But I had an idea...
I'm curious on how they'll look, and how exactly the fitment will be around the gas door on the drivers rear. Thinking I may need flares if I go up in tire size w/ new lower offset wheels to compensate.
Anyone else had thoughts on this yet?
