In my previous vehicles with inserts, it made it easier for me to clean. It was enough of a difference that I’d like them in my Ranger.

I guess that makes sense.

Never had an issue with it though.

Seems , well..stupid but it's a great little accessory for placing items on your passenger seats and keeping dirt or grease off the interior. Also, they recently came out with oversized cup attachments for the tray great for mugs or larger bottles.

I will admit, I've thought about making the seat behind the driver a storage area. I'm 6'1" and more legs than trunk. Also a little bow legged - dad said I looked like a pair of pliers walking around. But it means I keep the seat pretty far back.

I'd like to get rid of the center seatbelt and leave the armrest down then use that space as dedicated storage with some sort of car seat organizer and Molle Panel on the back of the driver seat. That will be my favorite accessory. I just haven't reconciled to giving up interior space - even though it is useless today.

Only insert it doesn't come with is the dash tray, for some reason.

OK I do not mean to highjack this thread, but I got my trim kit and have no idea where these go?

Big one goes under the back seat in storage hole.
Two round ones go in the cupholders in the backseat center armrest.
Smallest one is for the pencil holder that might or might not be in your front center armrest.
I put a piece of double sided tape under the two cupholder ones, as mine is typically always upright.

I read that it was because the rubber/silicon compounds used on them won't hold up under direct sunlight.
