Does the the cover close with that in? I could see getting one for the passenger side and the one that says "Fire Missile" for the driver side. I think it would be cool if I could still have the covers down so when I needed to use them I could be over dramatic flipping the cover up.

I have the same one and you can't close the cover as it sticks out about 1/2". Passengers have been pretty well behaved since adding it though. lol

I really like my engine cover. I bought it originally to dress up the appearance, but it does work pretty well at silencing some of the mechanical sounds and muffles the "too-high-a-gear" drone somewhat.

I like that … kinda want one. On the fence. Where’d you get yours?

I don't really do cheap little accessories. I, personally, don't want to end up looking like an AutoZone special.

But I have always wondered. What is the actual purpose of those cupholder inserts?

In my previous vehicles with inserts, it made it easier for me to clean. It was enough of a difference that I’d like them in my Ranger.
