Engine Cover Kit Discontinued??

Oh no. Not something I would have removed and thrown in the garage eventually.

I have like two covers I don't even own anymore.... Might need to go clean that up... Maybe I, at least, finally got rid of the stock exhaust from my last car.

Went to buy from Benny and also called my dealer (tremor getting first oil change and some goodies with FordPass rewards). Looks like no more engine cover kits which stinks. Should have ordered it back in January. Argh!
Dealership says they are listed as a discontinued part from Ford.

It was a standard item on 2019 Lariats...how can they stop making standard parts for a relatively new vehicle? How would Ford complete insurance repairs that involved a small engine fire?

Just ordered one from there as it is only $56. Although it says it will not fit 21 Tremor but part number is of course correct for our truck.

It'll fit, I have one on my 2021 Tremor

If a customer of a truck still under warranty had an issue with their cover…how would Ford replace it if now discontinued? The likelihood of a cover needing replacement under the warranty is slim…I get that. But what if?

Just a heads up, Benny confirmed the removal from their page was not an error and they are definitely discontinued. He wrote in the Genuine Ford Parts thread the following…

Not an error unfortunately, Ford has discontinued the engine cover and all stock we had was used for existing orders.

If you can find them elsehwere, I suggest you grab them while you can.

There are still a few on eBay, but it looks like the word of their discontinuation has gotten out as there's a kit including the cover and studs for $200+

But the damper adds hp and is almost half the price so it's a much better investment. ??

Not for nothing but the cover should come with all hardware included for a quick 123 install.
Everybody wants to nickle and dime us these days

I was going to buy the cover and tried to add the the necessary hardware. Funny that it said the stud won't fit my Ranger but suggest seat covers instead!

I'm not patient when it comes to online ordering so I think I'll pass for now. In a couple of years I'll just have to pay quadruple the price for the one Dr. Zaius is putting into a vault!
