The e-brake handle on my '22 XLT Tremor is too easy to pull up and the emergency brake does not grab super well. I can't find anything on here about adjusting it and one You Tube video shows lifting up the trim around the handle and tightening up the 10mm nut that anchors the cable. Do these have the threaded pistons (seems to be the case from what I have read on here) or the drum in disc setup with an adjuster wheel? Is the nut the only place to reduce the travel on the handle and get more grab from the e-brake?

Thank you

Edit: so after I posted this it shows similar threads below with "parking brake" in the title. That's why I couldn't find anything, I searched "emergency brake". First one of those shows schematics & write up, thanks forum dudes.

Can you back up while engaging the brake? Like you could with old drum brakes. Go backwards and tap the breaks a few times. Occasionally it would allow the adjustment wheel to turn. Or just bust out the ole brake spoon.

Well, the nut was backed off several turns from actually contacting anything. Nowhere near even finger tight. I bottomed out a 10mm deep socket tightening it and the handle still didn't feel very taut when pulling up. I ended up using a 10mm flex head flare nut wrench to get it satisfactorily tight. So be forewarned if you need to tackle this.
