Personally I'm not a fan of that.
Minus the graphics I love it! I see a lot of them up in Tucson and really love the look. The color is similar to my Tacoma which I loved and being in the desert the color is made for here. Plus, we have a lot of dust in the air and it just blends in. :tumbleweed:

If I were to get one this is the color I'd get.

…just about every time I go out.

I can definitely see the attraction. The styling and the stance are pretty nice.

You were not exaggerating about the bedrail height. I’m 6’0” and it is up to my armpits.

What’s with the fancy-schmancy suspension Dennis? Is that OEM or aftermarket?

Those are OEM shocks and the ZR-2 comes pretty well loaded with some nice options.

As far as bed height I've always been vertically challenged so it doesn't matter how high they are.

Those are the OEM DSSV (Dynamic Suspension Spool Valve) shocks.

If you want to know more...

DSSV Explained

Very impressive shocks, at least on the one I recently drove.

Colorado owners have had plenty of practice. Chevy knows their client base well

Just curious Dennis, why the Colorado ZR2 over the GMC Canyon AT4X?

Over the years, I always preferred the Pontiac version over Chevy when it came to cars, GMC over Chevy for trucks, and Plymouth over Dodge for muscle cars.

So, yeah, just wondering.

Mainly just the looks.

I prefer the looks of the Chevy over the GMC.

Plus, even though they are basically the same truck, there are many more Chevrolet dealers around than GMC dealers., which means a much wider selection.

I've found that GMC is usually a little more expensive. 🇵🇱

Before getting my Ranger, I had the ZR-2 on my short list. I like the looks of them, but after watching a YT comparison of it against the Ranger, combined with reviews of soft suspension, and the Ford have better engine performance in the desert, Ford one out, but I've always liked the look of the Chevvy. I'd still like to test drive the latest, but I've grown fond of my Ford. I love the way it drives day to day.

Raptor, but still a good comparison.
