For 2021 (or 2020), does the FX2 package include the plastic fuel tank skid plate?

I know the FX2 front plate is just cosmetic (plastic), though originally it was reported as metal -- but not sure if any other skid plates come with FX2.

Hard to say but if you want skid plates then get a 4x4 Ranger. It will make it easier on you.

My 2020 FX2 came with no skids. I added the 589 Fab front and engine skid. Very heavy duty. Already made use of them in Death Valley. Great protection for the radiator and steering rack. For mild off-roading the FX2 is a great deal

Don't see any venting. Any concern with heat build up? And where did you get those? I can't find any rear diff skids yet

I dont belive we have the rear diff skid avalible as of yet but i will state that the factory diff cover is pretty sturdy. Also with the skid plates there is still enough air flow to exit that keeps temps in a good threshold.

No venting but I really don’t see it being needed. It keeps good airflow from the radiator area, over the oil and transmission pan. Less turbulent air flow is a good thing in my opinion. At the front it simply protects the factory air diffuser that covers the radiator.
A bonus is that the engine skid does have a cutout for engine oil draining unlike some others. So no need to remove it for regular services.

I bought them direct at http://589fab.com/
