I don't really need a hard top tent as my idea will have he RTT on a slide out tray mounted in the bed under my rack. In an effort to keep cost down I'm trying to search around for a standard material made RTT that uses a storage bag, but not fold out design, but clam open design.
The clam design means I can design the pull out tray with shorter extension dimensions. Bbasically half the tent could remain in the bed for example vs. a fold out, which will require a much longer extension out the bed with portable attachment support legs on the end.
I'd like to simplify the idea if possible and a clam style RTT will do that for me.
