I like your patterns, wanted something similar after noticing I'm scuffing my door sills. I bought this, and after realizing it's not long enough cheaped out and just slapped it on for now. I'll order more in the future for a prettier more functional job.

Nice. Should give some good protection for the fragile paint.

I did front 2 doors, and I should have cut at angle like OP, as the 1st one had an overlap issue on front edge, cut at 23". I cut, and you really have to look to see. I just cut the DS at 22" and had no issue there. Looks almost invisible if you are looking for edge. I wrapped around down to cover rounded edge to wrinkle paint.

I decided against the $200 plastic pieces for now, and since I had put on my front paint protection (pre cut 3m vinyl) that it would be easy to do the door sills. Already had a couple small scratches, and didn't want any more. Ordered a 84x6inch roll of the 3M Pro protection film, measured and cut. Wet applied and it's almost invisible!

How do you get all the bubbles out? I can't seem to get them all out.

Wet apply! Use a mix of like a few cups distelled water (or RO water), some rubbing alcohol (like a few TBS) and a few drops of baby shampoo. Makes applying clear vinyl wraps (or most other large surface vinyl) EASY. Just soak the surface and the sticky side of the vinyl, squeegee the the water out once in place.

I tried that but guess I didn't soak it enough or I don't have your mad skills.

You really gotta work out the bubbles while it's wet, and lift/re-apply. The clear bra vinyl stuff it not forgiving though. Also, time and a little heat can get rid of some bubbles.

I am by no means a vinyl expert, lol. I hate applying the stuff. wrapped the roof of my last car with some and that was a huge annoying process. Thinking about doing the truck roof too, so, we'll see.

For anyone who needs it, here's a decent video on how to apply the stuff. gotta get it WET WET WET!
