Well you're in luck because I have been researching the same thing for a while now and with help from Benny @LevittownFordParts.com I know what I need to do to make this happen (*I have a SCAB so if you have a SCREW not everything I have found will work in your application and you may have to do more research just FYI) and I'm just waiting to get the suspension on my R32 finished so I have a second vehicle to drive while this is done.

Headliner I plan to recover in Alcantara so no issue there. A pillars not sure yet, re-covering seems simple till you look at the contours of the P/S A pillar where the grab handle is. Looking at the material though, painting the A-pillars might be a better option. Now for the rest

2024 6G Ranger Raptor has a black headliner and stuff and almost everything will work (that I looked at for my application).
Sun visors - Same size as 5G and bonus, has home link. Clips are the same as well.
Rear map light - same as well.
A-Pillars not the same, but the P/S grab handle is and is available separate so no need for painting. You can just swap out.
Overhead console - this one is the issue (for me anyway) if you look at the 2024 RR and the 5G headliner in this area, the overhead console will work even though it's longer due to the aux switches, the shape of the headliner is the same, so some trimming of the headliner would be needed to get it to fit, but the issue is the "cubby" above the console, is only available with the RR headliner, unlike 5G it can be bought separate. More on this later.
Grab handles - same
I have some hooks in the rear, no grab handles so that will have to be painted.
The microphone above the driver (didn't know what that was till Benny said what it was lol) the RR one is round, where 5G is rectanglish, might work, might not, painting this is fine though. I plan to make a write up when I do this if anyone wants to attempt this as well.

Back to the overhead. I wanted to use this, as the RR has aux switches up there, but being that the cubby is not available separate, I'm not sure how attaching it will work without that cubby. So my plan is to just use it for parts. I plan to take mine apart as much as possible, paint it, and then use the black switch and the sunglass holder door from the RR one, one because trying to get the little light on the switch to look right, and being that I use the sunglasses holder a lot, I want it to look right and not show wear over time. OCD...probably, but that's just me lol. Now if you have a SCREW, which most seem to, using the RR headliner might work, I don't know, this is where your own research may need to happen, as well as the B pillar and rear trims. In the SCAB, B pillars and back are all ready black. Any other questions let me know, I hope I covered everything.

Heres a video on removal of things (I think they're putting a roof rack on so they're are just dropping the headliner, not removing it. And ignore 4G lol)
Are you able to provide me links for the parts from Levittown?

I just got off the phone with a local interior refurbishing shop and the owner suggested to me to just use dye for the headliner. He suggested a product that he uses which is Mashimarho Black Headliner/Carpet Dye.

I am not really trying to spend a whole load of money on this project, so I am just going to dye it which he explained would be the cheaper option that would really give the same results as a fabric replacement. The material will stay the same OEM texture and just be, well; dyed black. (This goes without saying...)

Like said, still starting this project 8/10. Throughout the process I am fully prepared to break something expensive as I usually do with every project. Lets fuck my interior up! :fingerscrossed:

Sounds like a really interesting project and can't wait to see your progress.

While it isn't for me, there are days where I'd love a dark interior. It should impact internal glare quite a bit during day driving.

It will sure make your Ranger distinctive, so follow your desire and march to your own drummer (like my bumper chain drummer!). =D

Good luck! =)

Interested to see how the dye turns out. I would be worried about any long lasting chemical smell. Hopefully thats not the case though.

This was something I was concerned about, i'm going to test it on something before committing.

Remove the headliner from the truck, vaccum it, clean it, and then spray it on with a spray bottle. NO way i'm spraying it up with everything in the truck exposed.

I have drop cloth on hand so no mess. :fingerscrossed: Honestly the headliner will be the easiest part, its the trim pieces i'm concerned about with the paint. I'll have to do a lot of prepwork.

This video explains the headliner drop, and to fully remove you have to pull it out of the back doors. Its easiest to remove the front seats for this, possibly back.

Looking forward to seeing your results! I too love a 100% black interior. Gives you that "Batmobile" feeling :sunglasses:

I know you're way past this but I felt for the good of the "hive mind" here I'd say another great reason to avoid Alcantara as a replacement fabric is it is much heavier than other fabrics, and suede even heavier. All of the dudes I know that run these headliners in classic Porsche restoration have to fight massive sag issues over time and end up having to reinforce the headliner to the point of insanity to stop the inevitable rattles that come from the extra anchoring.

You're going a very smart route, IMO. Just take your time as a first timer! My only good advice. Good luck!

Yes sir I found that in my research that it might sag. This dye should make the headliner a little stiffer actually. Thank you for the knowledge. ?

Even when I take my time I still tend to mess things up so I’ll post all my mistakes lol

I've used clothing dye before and it doesn't linger - of course, clothes get washed and that's probably not a good idea for a headliner.

I bet it off-gasses quickly. After it fully dries, you could always point fans at it (not when driving) and kind of air blast the slowly evaporating molecules.

I taught middle school science many, many years ago, and used to have fun talking about how the best perfumes were made with whale vomit and the best lipstick with bat guano.

Back in those olden days, the boys would laugh at the girls until I pointed out that they liked how the girls looked and smelled.

Boy, if I said that today in middle school, I'd get fired!

$2.5 million in whale vomit -
just enough for that 303 graphene!

I actually bought an industrial washing machine just for the purpose of washing the headliner. I think they'll let me return it when i'm done.

Wish you were my science teacher. Mine just read out of the textbook and none of the material was engaging. This post made me laugh
