They denied my ripping seat on my Fusion like 3 or 4 times. The initial denial said it was cut with a knife. It was a natural rip. The district rep never even got back to me after complaining to Ford CS. The fifth submission was by another service writer and was approved within an hour.

I received a phone call from a Regional Customer Service Manager yesterday, and she basically told me there was nothing she could do since the warranty department has already declined it. She offered to have her supervisor contact me, however they would probably deny me too. I told her sure, why not, I'll have the discussion when they call and see where we stand.
THere is a defect in the material. hence its defective. If they still deny it I would keep them on the phone long enough to waste their time for what it would cost to cover the panel.

I received a follow up call yesterday around 5pm from the Customer Operations Manager for the Western Market basically reiterating what the first CSM told me. They won't override the decision that Ford Warranty made as its not their place to do so nor is it their responsibility. I'm not entirely sure why the dealer told me to call the 800 number in the first place knowing that it wouldn't get any traction. Maybe just hoping I'd get lucky, who knows.

Around 2pm today I got a call from the dealer. He said he was talking to his Regional Manager and they both agreed that they should take care of me seeing as its a new truck and its clearly not something I did to it. What I understood is that the dealer is going to pay their 40% that they agreed to me and that the Regional Manager is going to somehow take care of the difference. Unfortunately the part is on national back order, but at least they've agreed to take care of it.

I'll update once the part is available and its replaced.

I'm at the dealer now to pick up my new FX4. I checked the drivers door before doing the paperwork. It looks just like the OP's. I pointed it out to my salesman. He got the sales and service managers to look at it. They have 5 other Rangers on the lot. We looked at all of them. 1 other one was discolored. The other 4 looked fine. They are swapping my door panel with one that looked good. They said they would rather do that then order one just to have it show up bad also. I call that great service.

I'm hoping to see my ranger this week, here's hoping I do not have the same issue! Mine is a Supercab though and I'm seeing most the people that have this issue are Crew cab individuals.

I took mine in today to show my dealer.. They took several digital pictures and are submitting it up the chain.. we will see what happens!

Nice, now maybe that Ford Warranty sees a second case they'll be more likely to approve it and maybe even issue a TSB (although I'd imagine it'd take a few more instances than what we've seen in this thread for a TSB). Keep us updated.

So when I took the truck in today for the TSB, I called to check if it was ready for pickup. He said, yes it is BUT he just got the replacement door panel in, they wouldn't have time to do it today anyway so I headed in to pick up my truck. When I got there I asked if we could take a look at the new panel, and it was in fact WORSE than the one that is already on the truck... So he's going to take pictures of that panel and send them back up to Ford Warranty to get the denial reversed and show them that this clearly wasn't something I did to the panel, its a manufacturing issue. I'll update when I know more.

I looked at mine the the other day briefly. Was a slight bit less, but still noticable in the same area. I'll post a picture, with measurements in a few days when I get it back from LineX and tint.

This was one item I checked on my new delivery yesterday and I did not see this line, so maybe whatever caused it has cleared up. Wondering if it has to do with earlier build dates or something? I'm guessing this part must be from some supplier - maybe the early parts had this issue?
