So the dealer got back to me after speaking to their manager, and he said the best they could do since Ford Service already denied the claim is to cover 40% of parts and labor. Seeing as that is NOT a desirable option for me, I called Ford Customer Service and had the issue escalated to the Regional Customer Service Manager and they said I should hear something back in about 1 business day or so... Let's see what happens.

that sucks. but highly unlikely they will call back in a day. I've been there done that and no one has ever called back. You''ll probably have to follow up. Maybe if they get enough complaints they would do something.

I am watching this since I can see a similar discoloration on mine as well. Mine is not as pronounced, but it is there. My truck was built 3/6/2019.

Good thing I'm good at being annoyingly persistent. :D

I did mention to the rep that "multiple others on the forums" were seeing the same issue.

I'm still waiting for a call back for my ST wheel. From May of 2018.

Good luck.

Yep, I tried degreaser, interior trim cleaner, soap (dawn) and water and nothing made a difference. The only way I could kind of mask it was to add some product that kind of shined it up, but it was still clearly visible. I also realized I hated shiny interior so I used soap and water to take that all back off and now its in the same state as it was when I picked it up.

Good luck.
Well hopefully I can get faster results than that! :D

This might be me nit-picking, but there is a clear line on the driver's interior door where you can see a big difference in the color of the panel. Its dark black then dark grey. I've circled it in red here. Any one else see anything like this?

EDIT: I cleaned them like crazy, nothing, put some interior shine on it and it helped tone down the difference a bit. Then realized I hated shiny interior so I cleaned it back off and it was back to how it was prior.
It could be worse Josh, I cracked my iPad screen and when I look at your door there is a crack going down it!

But seriously, you are not being nitpicking, these trucks are not cheap and well, because we had to have them immediately and the kinks are not out at the factory, these problems are there. If you don’t complain about them, the mistakes will just keep coming. I am still waiting to hear back from Ford about my dirt in the paint along the driver window and i’ll Bet that even though they say the steering column ignition was made that way on purpose, next year they will step up to where even the cheapest cars out there are and put a ring around the key slot.

I am seeing new things every day. My back seat arrived with dirt swirls on it. I’ll admit, I did not say anything and now they will say I did it. And if you wait too long they will say you spilled bleach on the door.

Give them hell NOW!

And there is a chip on the magnetic near the end of the ruler. I guess the robots are unionized so they can’t fire them.
That's actually sun glare :)

Count me in. Very slight discoloration. Nothing I would have noticed without this thread THANKS ALOT!!!!!

I use 303 which delivers a slight Semi-gloss eliminates it pretty much

If I look at the right angle I can see it on mine, not near as noticeable as Josh's though.
Same here, I can notice it on mine also, but it does not look as apparent as Josh's. I doubt I would have noticed it except for this thread, thanks Josh.

I''ll Bet they would do something if you were looking to buy that Ranger and you noticed that flaw...and yes it's a flaw I would not expect to find on a $40K truck.

I received a phone call from a Regional Customer Service Manager yesterday, and she basically told me there was nothing she could do since the warranty department has already declined it. She offered to have her supervisor contact me, however they would probably deny me too. I told her sure, why not, I'll have the discussion when they call and see where we stand.
