Dirty Tremor Graphics?

Hey all, I'm one of the few that got the Tremor side graphics and... I'm not sure why Ford decided to use a textured vinyl... Had I known I would have skipped it... Anyway, I cannot keep the black portion clean between the car wash and home!

Has anyone found a product or something that will prevent every particle of dust from embedding itself to the graphic?

I used rain x ceramix which generally worked great on the painted parts and the red portion of the vinyl but the black portion... Not so much.

I'm about to go guinea pig this one and throw everything at it. Maybe project farm will pick it up even. ?

I've not had a real issue since getting all the tire shine residue off it after I got it. I use a quick detailer spray between waxes and wax the stickers along with the paint when it does get a wax coating. Dust and dirt does show on the textured carbon like film, but i wouldn't say it sticks more on it as opposed to the red stripe.

I'd think @AzScorpion would have some 303 product to suggest.

I used Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions ceramic spray and it worked really well on the textured black and the rest of the truck for that matter.

A few months ago I gave Griot's Garage 10978 3 in 1 ceramic a try and I like it even better.

Using either product worked great on the whole truck.

Like Dave said I'm sure 303 Graphene would work as well. I was going to try it when I discovered Griot's and did that instead.

Mask it off and throw some Crystal Clear Krylon on it.

I have not had any issues with keeping the black graphic clean but I have had an issue with the graphic not having a consistent sheen and looking stained. Most of the waxes I have used that do not stain the black plastic trim do not work on the graphic. 303 Graphine was suggested so I tried it. It keeps the graphic looking rich and consistent between washes.

Note: Back-to-Black works but unless you are willing to mask the stripes any you get on the paint will stain the paint and is a bitch to get off.

FWIW, I would not have bought the carbonized grey Ranger I have if it was not for the Tremor Graphics.

It's extremely dusty out here in AZ and I've not had any problems with dirt or dust in the graphics. One good thing about the 303 Graphene is you can spray it on every surface including the plastic, rubber and glass. It has great UV protection and if you use the Graphene Detailer you'll get some added protection as that has some small amount of Graphene in it too.
